Join us in Spring for our women’s ‘Glow Sew’ retreat
There is something very special about sewing – threading needles and stitching to mend things with fondness, to make garments with care, or embellish little patches that tell stories about where we've been and become pouches or pockets to hold treasures. After a long winter with the days slowly getting brighter, sinking in to the goodness of stitching in the company of great women might seem like a perfect thing to do. Taking time to connect, feel grounded and nourished surrounded by nature. A nurturing time as we welcome spring and the warmer days ahead.
Please join us for a weekend of inspiring sewing sessions hosted by Our good fforest friend and very talented maker, Lizzie Everard (as seen on Great British Sewing Bee) and her beautiful gang of experts.
We are delighted that Lizzie will again host our 3rd sewing weekend, Lizzie is very passionate, great fun, with a generous character and is full of adventures. Lizzie will lead and guide us through a practical project on our machines, making a garment.
Here's the plan
Two morning sessions with Lizzie sewing on our machines creating one of her unique garments (a few sewing machines will be available if you don't have one)
Plus two inspiring afternoon sessions of complementary mending, darning and repairing with Ali Clifford and Saffron Darby.
