On your arrival you will be greeted at the Lodge, this is the Hub of fforest farm and where we serve our breakfasts and fforest suppers during our main holiday season & for special events.
Just up from the Lodge is the Bwthyn, our very own little pub! It is the oldest building on the farm. On site you will also find the cedar barrel sauna tucked into the woods. This is the perfect après-sea treatment, after a session of coasteering or kayaking.

500 acres

Between fforest and the adjacent wildlife reserve there are 500 acres of land connecting fforest to the local town of Cardigan through the woods, reed beds and along the upper reaches of the Teifi estuary. Feel free to explore on the footpaths, boardwalks, running loops and river gorge. Run, cycle, paddle, walk, dawdle, get lost. If you'd prefer not to get lost, ask one of our team for a route.

The Bwthyn pub is open from the Easter holidays until October half-term.
From November until March stays are self-catering.
The pub & lodge close between December and March and stays during this time are self-catering and self-sufficient.

The local area

A canoe downstream or walk through the wildlife reserve brings you into Cardigan.
On the south side of the old bridge is the Albion hotel, on the opposite side is the Pizzatipi and Tafarn Smwglin on the otherside of the river are where we serve local beers, our very own gin and some great food including the third best Pizza in Wales!
Aside from our courtyard, Cardigan is a beautiful market town with everything you need on its vibrant high street.
