JOB DESCRIPTION: DUTY MANAGER
AVERAGE WEEKLY HOURS: 20-30 hrs

LOCATION: CILGERRAN
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To confidently supervise the day to day operations of the Front of House team. To deliver exceptional customer services at all times. To adhere to all current licensing and health and safety policies. To act as the first port of call for customer enquiries.
Liaise with the Farm Manager, Events Manager, Wedding & Events Co-coordinator & Maintenance Manager on daily operations and upcoming events.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
DUTIES
To open or close the buildings in use in accordance with the set procedure, as required.
To carry out a fire safety check of the site at the start of each shift and immediately action any areas of concern.
Working with the Farm manager to ensure the building complies with all health and safety and licensing policies.
Working with the Housekeeping Manager and Events Manager to ensure the buildings are clean and correct.
To take a lead role in the managing of incidents and emergencies whilst on duty.
To ensure the public areas and toilets are presentable and welcoming at all times.
To accurately record front of house staff attendance and report any absences to the Farm Manager using the correct procedure.
To confidently supervise all Front of House staff on a day to day basis, including managing breaks and motivating staff.
Oversee the daily operation of events that the venue holds, e.g weddings, corporate events, retreats, holiday breaks.
